How you can help Walkabout Farm Therapeutic Riding Association Inc.

Walkabout Farm continues to challenge the limitations and financial restrictions, and is asking for your support in maintaining a self sustainable therapeutic farm, equine rehabilitation and therapeutic training centre, adaptive therapeutic riding programs and emotional wellness support – through volunteering, skill development and work placement.
Please consider donating to this unique community service. Contributions by way of private donations, corporate sponsorships and government grants are welcome and very much needed at this time. Every dollar makes a difference! Through supporting a program that helps individuals achieve their personal goals and reduce their social isolation, your donation can make a positive difference in their lives. By creating and promoting an environment of acceptance and inclusion, your support has a positive impact on our entire community as well.
The John Martin Memorial Fund
The John Martin Memorial Fund was established to honour a truly gentle man with a big personality who cared about people and sharing his love for the natural world with others. Sadly, John passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer on September 10, 2017 at the age of 69. His unwavering support and encouragement of his daughter (Walkabout’s founder Jennifer Semach) inspired a memorial fund to be created in his honour.

In loving memory of Jennifer Casey. Jennifer was a true friend, supporter and volunteer to the guardians and participants of Walkabout Farm. She went home to be with Jesus after a long courageously fought battle with cancer on Tuesday July 10, 2018. We were all blessed to know and love such a wonderful woman who taught us to be generous and joyous in service to others through her knowledge of horses, and by her many missions abroad to bring lifesaving water to villages in impoverished nations. We give our most sincerest condolences to her children Regan, Parker, Reese and Kiera, and loving husband Pat, as well as her extended family and friends. John 11:25 – “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”
